SmartBrix Construction is the turnkey operating unit of PEB Corp Group. We deliver turnkey prefabricated construction projects — architectural and structural design, fabrication, shipping, and installation — and execute the complementary civil works, from foundations to finishes.
This end-to-end service pursues one concrete goal: keeping quality, design, cost, and schedule in balance on every project. To get there we build with two systems — steel framing (LGS/CFS) for permanent buildings and prefabricated modules for rapid deployment — both BIM-designed and CNC-fabricated at the group plant.
The division of roles is clear: SmartBrix contracts and delivers the project to the client, backed by PEB Corp Group's engineering and plant. From our own offices in Bogotá, Colombia and Panama City we serve the entire Latin American market, with 350+ delivered projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial, defense, and housing.

PEB Corp Group is a Panamanian industrialized steel construction group with 350+ projects and 15+ years of track record in Panama, Colombia and the Caribbean. It comprises three brands: PEB Corp (Pre-Engineered Buildings Corp, S.A.), the parent company providing structural engineering, BIM design, institutional relations and export; SmartBrix Construction (SmartBrix Centroamérica S.A.S.), the construction unit delivering turnkey Steel Framing and modular projects; and NewCon Steel® (NewCon Steel Corp.), the manufacturer of cold-formed steel (LGS/CFS) profiles, panels and structural kits at the group's CNC plant in Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City, under the EMMA regime. The group holds ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 37001 certifications.
SmartBrix Construction contracts and delivers the complete project, backed by PEB Corp engineering and NewCon Steel® steel under the same ISO quality system. SmartBrix Construction is not a block or brick manufacturer; it builds steel buildings.

CNC fabrication in Las Mañanitas, Panama City.
The profiles and components for every project are fabricated at the group's CNC plant, operated by NewCon Steel® at Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City, under Panama's EMMA regime (Law 159 of 2020), which allows duty-free import of machinery, raw material and inputs. Production capacity: 20,000 m²/month. Profiles are made of Zn-Al-Mg 275 g/m² steel (ZM275 to EN 10346 / ZMM275 to ASTM A1046) — formulated to resist corrosion in tropical climates — to a ±0.5 mm fabrication tolerance.
The Panama location enables direct export to Central America and the Caribbean (Panamanian certificate of origin, HS 72.16, available; import treatment is decided by the destination customs): components and flatpack modules are container-optimized and dispatched to site, where the SmartBrix team executes assembly and civil works through final delivery.

Beyond the group's certifications, structural and MEP design is verified against the codes that apply in each jurisdiction: NSR-10 in Colombia, REP-2021 in Panamá, IBC as the international reference, RETIE for electrical installations in Colombia, and AISI S100 for cold-formed steel design.
Quality, safety, and environment in a single policy.
The Integrated Policy of SmartBrix Centroamérica S.A.S. directs process-based management toward meeting client needs and expectations on time, with quality and reasonable costs, supported by a competent workforce.
That commitment includes compliance with applicable occupational health and safety and environmental legislation and requirements; hazard identification, risk assessment, and controls at every workplace; and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System's effectiveness and performance — with worker consultation and participation, environmental protection, and pollution prevention.
The policy applies to every workplace and every company worker, regardless of contract type or engagement, including contractors and subcontractors.
